Metric System of Measurement
(Correctly called "SI")
The metric system is a system of measuring. It has three basic units:

Kilogram

Time
Hour
An hour is 60 minutes, and a minute is 60 seconds, so an hour is:
- 60 × 60 = 3,600 seconds
Day
A day is 24 hours so:
- 1 day = 24 × 60 × 60 = 86,400 second
